FARRUGIA. On May 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, EDWIGE, née Camilleri of Attard, aged 72, passed away peacefully comforted by rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her loving husband Alfred, her brother Salvinu and Josephine, Gina and Godfrey Darmanin, May, widow of David Wilkes, Carmelina and Joe Cardona, her husband brother George and Frances, Edward, widower of Vienna, Josette, widow of John and sister Mary, nephews, niece, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2pm for St Mary’s parish church, Attard, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated, followed by interment at Attard cemetery. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.

PORTELLI. On May 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMEN, née Busuttil, of St Paul’s Bay, aged 63, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joseph, her sons Mauro and his wife Alexandra and Marco and his wife Alexandra, her grandchildren Joseph, Francesca, Gianluca and Valentina, her in-laws Victoria Deguara, Henriette Camilleri and Sammy Portelli and their spouses, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, June 2 at 8.45am for St John of the Cross parish church, Ta’ Xbiex, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.15am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

TESTONE. Suddenly, on May 29, ALDO (former Director of the Maltese Law Courts), of Valletta, residing at Birkirkara, aged 66. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Paulette, née Vella, his adorable children Chiara and her boyfriend Matthew Cassar, and Antonio, his mother Jessie, his sisters, MaryRose and her husband Edgar Cassar, Bianca and her husband Joseph Tonna, his mother-in-law Mary Vella, in-laws, nephews, nieces, other relatives and numerous friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Paul Shipwrecked parish church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery (back entrance). TIVERON. On May 30, in Bagnoli, Padua, FRANCO, passed away peacefully in his sleep. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Marilu, née Frendo, his sons Diego, Dario and nephew Ivan, his sister Anna Maria, relatives and friends in Italy and Malta. The funeral is to be held tomorrow at 10.30am at San Siro di Bagnoli, Padua. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
