BARBARA. On May 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, EMANUEL of Mellieħa, aged 64, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Anna, his brothers and sisters, Ġużi and his wife Salvina, Philip and his wife Rose, Mary and Doris, his in-laws and their families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1pm for Marija Bambina parish church, Mellieħa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. BUGELLI. On May 28, at St Vincent de Paul residence, JOSEPH of Marsascala, aged 83, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his wife Rita, née Attard, his children Marisa and her husband Joseph Farrell, Josie, Denise and her husband Mario Attard, his grandchildren Shaun, Jeanclaude, Martina and their partners, his great-grandchildren, his sister Tessie, his in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Hospital tomorrow at 2.30pm for St Anne’s parish church, Marsascala, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3pm followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
CILIA. On May 27, RITA, of Cospicua, residing at Marsascala, widow of Ġużeppi, aged 96, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Frans and his wife Jane, Victor and his wife Rita and John and his wife Mary, both residing in Australia, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for St Anne’s parish church, Marsascala, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. XUEREB. On May 28, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, JOANNA, née Panzavecchia, aged 70, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her beloved husband Lino, her daughter Ramona and her husband Kevin, her son Gerald, her grandchildren Nicholas and Timothy, her brother Marcel and his wife Carrie, her sister May and her husband Frank, her carer Tina, other relatives, friends and the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday at 8am for St Mary’s parish church, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
