Children aged four to six and their parents are taking part in free sessions of reading stories in English, singing songs and fun activities on Thursdays from 4.30 to 5.30pm at Simar Nature Reserve, Xemxija.

The children also take part in activities around the reserve linked to the books being read, exploring textures, colours, sounds and numbers through nature. The programme aims to promote children’s love of books and help develop their imagination through stimulating activities. It is organised by Birdlife Malta and the National Literacy Agency in collaboration with Malta Libraries and a government initiative called ‘Magic of Stories’.

To book a session call 2598 2990 or e-mail aqra.storja@ilearn.edu.mt.
