The first TEDx University of Malta conference was held at the KSU Tipico Careers Common Room at the Msida campus on the theme ‘The Joys of Being’.

Speakers Antoine Zammit, Lelio Spiteri, David Zammit, Julian Bajada, Mikela Fenech Pace and Luke Azzopardi shared their experiences, life perspectives and valuable lessons with the audience.

They dealt with subjects such as designing a city for the future; providing an education that embraces individuality; discovering the yearning for adventure; staying authentic in today’s ‘like generation’; transforming insurmountable challenges into opportunities and never being ‘enough’. Videos of the six talks will be uploaded to the official TEDx site.

The event, which also included a performance from Naupaca Dance Factory and interludes by Għaqda tal-Malti - Univeristà and Annalisa Schembri, was held in partnership with the University, the Students’ Council (KSU) and Aġenzija Żgħażagħ.
