These are the main stories featured in today's Maltese newspapers:

Times of Malta says that almost half of the Nationalist Party’s complaints on voting rights granted to foreigners buying Maltese citizenship were deemed justified by the Electoral Commission. The second story quotes Malta Developers Association president Sandro Chetcuti warning that a lack of a holistic government plan for major development projects involving sale of public land risked creating instability in the sector.

L-orizzont reports that Malta pays the lowest taxes on electricity in the EU. It also carries a picture of the restoration of Qormi's San Frangisk church.

The Malta Independent reports Prime Minister Joseph Muscat saying that his aide/blogger Glenn Bedingfield was wrong in his rant against a judge who decided to award the Nationalist Party two extra parliamentary seats. It also reports the case of the two Libyans who were charged with killing a Colombian outside a Paceville club.

In-Nazzjon also refers to Mr Bedingfield's case, saying the Chamber of Advocates had also raised objections to the comments made.
