The following are the top stories in national newspapers today.

Times of Malta says documents in the Panama Papers show Tillgate Inc, the Panama trading company set up by Keith Schembri, estimated receiving about $50,000 a month from “consultancy and management services”. In another story, it says a trial by jury due to start next week has had to be postponed, since the report on some of the evidence was prepared by disgraced court-appointed expert Martin Bajada.

The Malta Independent says it has e-mail exchanges which show how the Chief Electoral Commissioner, Joseph Church, was aware of irregularities in voting applications of IIP citizenship buyers before these were flagged by the Opposition.

L-Orizzont says €6 million are being invested by Methode Electronics Ltd by the end of June next year.

In-Nazzjon accuses the government and the Labour Party of not accepting the people’s will as could be proven by the vote-counting mistake case it won in court.
