The Pink Fashion Show at the aptly named Villa Rosa in St Julian’s had models ‘walking on water’ as they paraded the hottest summer trends across a submerged catwalk in the pool on Thursday.

A Times of Malta event, now in its sixth edition, the idea was to dress up, make a splash and paint the town Pink. In fact, the tranquil oasis in the heart of Paceville was dressed up and drenched in a pink light, flowers by Romano Cassar Florists and a party atmosphere for the night.

Models wore the latest collections and must-have pieces from top brands: Trussardi Jeans, Harmont & Blaine, Boux Avenue, Oasis, Oysho, M&Co, Ipanema and Rebelli.

Their hair, in a just-out-of-the-shower wet look, which is deceptively easy, both relaxed and sophisticated, was by Screen Team Malta and complemented by make-up by Guerlain, which achieved the same fresh and natural, yet radiant, wet-look effect.

The Pink Fashion Show was also supported by Campari, Carolina Herrera, Delicia Catering, Diet Kinnie, Head & Shoulders, Henry London, Magnum, O’hea Opticians, Renault, Scholl Foothealth Centre and Vichy.

Organised twice yearly by Pink, Malta’s magazine for women, and the Times of Malta, the show has become an established and anticipated event on the country’s fashion calendar.
