After the recent shocking revelations about secret accounts and all that, I am really amazed at the Prime Minister’s apparent cold attitude towards the whole thing.

I am sure he is intelligent enough to see that the kettle is boiling over and the hot water is more than likely to scald the country that is ruled by him.

The friendship between Joseph Muscat and Keith Schembri should not be an excuse to keep things as if nothing is happening.  We have already had a very laughable episode when Konrad Mizzi was “promoted”.

The farce that we witnessed in Parliament just goes to show that Muscat and his merry men have no serious concern for Malta’s good name.

We shall soon have another humiliating exercise, when Leo Brincat faces the grilling board at the European Parliament for the job at the European Court of Auditors.

By now, Muscat’s credibility is down to zero. Being our Prime Minister, I hope he will not allow it to go below zero.

If Muscat is banking on the present good economic performance, he had better keep in mind the famous words that man does not live on bread alone.
