Points docked: Three Romanian top-flight clubs have had points deducted for failing to put their financial affairs in order and meet licensing criteria. Romanian Cup winners CFR Cluj will start next season on minus nine points while ASA Targu Mures, who finished in sixth place, and bottom club Petrolul Ploiesti, already relegated to the second tier, were hit with a six-point deduction.

Garcia goes: Malaga have announced the departure of manager Javi Garcia after two seasons in charge. Garcia, who led Malaga to consecutive ninth-place finishes in La Liga, has accepted a four-year contract to manage Russian side Rubin Kazan.

Schuster: Darmstadt have confirmed coach Dirk Schuster has asked for permission to speak to rivals Augsburg. Schuster, who has a contract until 2018 with Darmstadt, is wanted by the Bavarians to replace Markus Weinzierl, who announced his intention to leave them on Tuesday and is reported to have agreed terms with Schalke to become their new coach.

Kramaric: Hoffenheim have completed the permanent signing of Leicester striker Andrej Kramaric. The Croatian striker joined the Bundesliga side on a temporary basis in January but has now signed a deal that will keep him at the club until June 2020. The former Dinamo Zagreb forward will be looking to shoulder the goalscoring responsibility left by Kevin Volland, who has signed for league rivals Bayer Leverkusen.
