The world’s largest cruise ship, the Harmony of the Seas, made its maiden sail from France to United Kingdom this past weekend. The humongous cruiser will sail the Mediterranean sea during summer.

Measuring almost 400 meters in length and 65 meters in height, the ship is best described as a floating city. With a staff of 2,100 crew members and 2,747 cabins, the ship can host up to 6,780 passengers.

Building the world's largest cruiser cost Royal Caribbean cruise line around €900 million. The money bought the ship amenities like 20 restaurants, 23 pools and an ice rink. There’s a theatre, gym, spa, casino, nursery, hospital, jail and a morgue, among many others.

Passengers can spend their time strolling through the shop-filled indoor promenade or admire the ship’s central park with more than 10,000 plants and 50 trees. A daredevil can even hop on to a 10-story-long slide, the tallest slide at sea, according to Royal Caribbean.

Harmony of the Seas will be sailing through the western Mediterranean during this summer with destinations like Rome, Barcelona and Marseille. A week-long all-inclusive cruise around Mediterranean starts from €1200.
