New research will seek to track physical activity in 14- to 15-year-olds, to assess their lifestyle.

The research, being conducted by the University of Malta Institute for Physical Education and Sport, is a follow up to a study conducted back in 2012 among 10-to 11-year-olds.

The study will use accelerometers – small measuring devices worn around the waist which build an image of the wearer’s physical activity based on movement.

The study will also include a detailed questionnaire.
