The following are the top stories in national newspapers today.

Times of Malta says Air Malta is planning to hive off some of its non-core operations to become more efficient and cut operational costs. In another story, it says Malta is in favour of reauthorising the “probable human carcinogen” glyphosate for use in pesticides, changing its position from an abstention at EU level earlier this year.

The Malta Independent says White Rocks Development Company, a consortium made up of a number of local and foreign companies, is the preferred bidder for the White Rocks project in Pembroke.
