The cruise liner MV Artania recently anchored off Mġarr harbour to enable passengers to spend a day in Gozo.

The ship was on a 17-day Mediterranean cruise that started in Palermo, Sicily. It later called at Grand Harbour before sailing to Bodrum, Turkey. Locally, Mifsud Brothers Ltd. acted as the ship's port agents and ground operators.

The ship was originally christened Royal Princess by Diana, Princess of Wales, in 1984.
