Seven Gudja youths took part in an Erasmusplus project regarding healthy and nutritious food in schools, together with participants from the UK, Turkey, Rumania and Estonia. During a recent exchange trip to Leeds they visited schools to see the food served to students of different nationalities and learnt about the problems of anorexia and obesity. They also had the opportunity to undertake physical and challenging exercises such as ziplining, raft building, laser tag and archery. The project was coordinated councillor Mark Anthony Sammut from Gudja local council.
