Works in the upper part of Republic Street, Victoria, protruding into Independence Square, are close to completion. However, it is disgusting to note that a narrow pavement measuring less than one foot and a half is not being  widened, notwithstanding the danger  it offers to  pedestrians.

This stretch of road is among the island’s busiest. The actual width is contrary to pavement regulations. Repeating such a blunderis illogical.
