Now that the awful monument in Castille Square, which resembles a turd tied into a knot, has served its purpose, it is time the authorities consider moving the ugly sight to the drainage recycling plant in Marsascala and instead install the statue of de Valette, which at the moment is in a less prominent place.

The most honourable place in our capital city deserves to be reserved permanently for its founder, Jean Parisot de Valette.
