Design Sprint, an event being organised by Incredible Web ( http://incredible-web.com.mt ), together with Google Launchpad, will take place on Saturday and next Sunday at Takeoff, University of Malta.
The teams should be made up of three to four members, limited to 32 participants. They will be tested in product strategy, sales, design and development. The methodology has been adopted by some of the largest companies in the industry, including IBM, Toyota and Google themselves.
Speakers will include Google developer experts Milan Guenther, a European strategic design consultant based in Paris and Dusseldorf and organiser of the Intersection Conference, and Bartosz Balewski, a user experience designer specialising in interaction and service design.
The aim of the event is for participants to solve and test design problems which they will frequently face while developing their application. With the help of Google experts, they will be able to answer critical business questions through design, pro-typing and testing ideas with customers.
This is a unique opportunity for participants to learn how to improve development methods directly from the experts. The event is being sponsored by Dakar Software Systems and CVA Ltd.
