May is Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) awareness month. And ALS Malta is working to ensure people with the progressive, fatal disease get counted.

For the first time ever, the foundation is organising Beat It May ALS Awareness Month. One of the events being held is an art exhibition featuring the works of Maltese artist Mark Mallia.

The exhibition is taking place at the Xara Lodge in Rabat tomorrow from 9am onwards. The event will be addressed by President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca at 6pm.

Larissa will be performing live jazz throughout the day, and wine and canapes will be served to all those attending.

This event is a great opportunity for art enthusiasts to get their own unique piece by Mallia at a greatly discounted price.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to ALS Malta in the hopes of finding a cure.
