As preparations are under way for the Pink Fashion Show, this behind-the-scenes footage of the photo shoot that will appear in the magazine's May issue is a taste of the hot summer trends on the catwalk of the anticipated event.

Now entering its sixth edition, the twice yearly show is organised by Pink, Malta’s magazine for women, and Times of Malta, and has become an established event on the country’s fashion calendar.

This year, it is being held on May 26 at Villa Rosa in St George’s Bay, St Julian’s, a tranquil oasis in the heart of Paceville. It will see models sporting sexy swimwear and some sizzling and sophisticated looks from top brands: Boux Avenue, Ipanema, M&Co, Oasis, Oysho, Trussardi Jeans and Rebelli.

The models promise to paint the town ‘pink’ and bring a touch of the surrounding party vibe into the venue, which will be drenched in a splash of colour for the occasion.

The summer 2016 runway image is inspired by a sleek, natural, fresh, easy and just-out-of-the-shower, wet look, with make-up by Guerlain and hair by Screen Team Malta.

The Pink Fashion Show is supported by Campari, Delicia Catering, Diet Kinnie, Head & Shoulders, Henry London, Magnum, O’hea, Renault, Scholl Foothealth Centre and Vichy.
