BONNICI. On May 13, at Mater Dei Hospital, CONNIE, widow of Maurice, aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Peter and his wife Caroline, Martin and his wife Tessa, and Sandra and her husband Richard Aquilina, her grandchildren Lisa and Martin, Sarah and John, Mark and Raphaelle, Theresa and John, Nikki and Max, Faye and Andrew, Janis and Paul, her great-grandchildren Nicola, Kate, John, Emma, Amy, Amy and Ana, her very devoted carer Fely, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at St George Cemetery, Naxxar. BUSUTTIL. On May 12, SALVINO, passed away peacefully, aged 79, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons Jonathan and his wife Daniela, David Raphaël and his wife Noella, his granddaughters Rakel and Sabine, his brothers and sisters, Joseph and his wife Anna, Anna and her husband Sunnie Farrell, Victor and his wife Lois and Carmen and her husband Anthony Borg Barthet, his in-laws Claire Zarb, Anna and Robert Tua, and Michael and Ann Zarb, his many nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends, amongst whom Victoria Attard Kingswell. The funeral cortège leaves St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, on Monday, May 16 at 8.15am for Mġarr parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. PELLEGRINI PETIT. On May 13, Notary PETER PAUL PELLEGRINI PETIT, aged 100, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his loss his dear wife Lina, née Grech Cumbo, his children Myriam and Martin, Cecilia and Tonio, Edward and Rosalie, Lucienne and Robert, Ariane and Paul, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brother Tonio and Rosemary, Gaby, widow of Joe and his sister Rose Martin, numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. On May 13, at Gozo General Hospital, FRANCIS of Ta’ Mena Estate Xagħra, Gozo, widower of Carmen (Mena), née Zammit, father of Joseph and his wife Marnése, Margaret, Philip and his wife Josette, Mark and his wife Joyce, and Patrick and his wife Marvic, grandfather and great-grandfather to Karol, Angele and Celine, Marija and Chris, Earl and Atalia, Kyanne and Andrew, Benjamin, Ela and Philip, Marilyn, Christine and Barnaby, Karla, David, Paul and Marija. Also his sisters Mananni and Giovanna, his brother Karmenu, numerous other relatives and friends. Will always be remembered as a hard worker, tiller of land and nature and animal lover. The funeral cortège leaves Gozo General Hospital on Monday, May 16 at 4.30pm for the Nativity of Our Lady Basilica, Xagħra, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 5pm, followed by interment at Xagħra cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
