Id-Dar tal-Providenza is next week presenting the production of Annie – The Musical at the Catholic Institute in Floriana.

Residents of the home will be taking part together with various kids known on Maltese TV. Among them are Geordie Schembri, known for her part in the televised serial Iċ-ċaqqufa, who will be interpreting Annie, and Aiken Buhagiar who is presently cast in another TV production, Strada Stretta, who will be interpreting Donald.

This is an opportunity for residents of Id-Dar tal-Providenza to show their abilities on stage as well as a fundraising event for the home.

Annie – The Musical takes us back in time when Annie from the municipal orphanage is on a quest to find her parents. With the help of her dog Sandy and Miss Farrell she manages to meet Warbucks, the billionaire. Then, the adventures start.

• Annie – The Musical is being staged at the Catholic Istitute on Saturday, May 21 at 6pm.

Tickets against a donation of €5 may be obtained from Id-Dar tal-Providenza in Siġġiewi, its Valletta office at 244, St Paul Street, Valletta – which is open Monday to Saturday between 9.00am and 12.30pm – and the booking office and bar of the Catholic Institute in Floriana.
