The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology’s Sports Department recently organised three days of sports activities for students and staff at Golden Sands beach and Pretty Bay. During the activity, entitled Spring Days, participants took part in beach handball, beach tchoukball, adapted beach football, beach volley, dodge ball and trekking around Golden Sands. Besides enabling participants to meet students and staff from other Mcast institutes the activities helped them enhance their communication, leadership, organisational and team-building skills. The event was organised by students on the extended diploma course in sports development coaching and fitness and were supervised by sports coordinator Jason Muscat.
