The first edition of the High 5 Junior Mathematicians Challenge – a competition for mathematically gifted Years 5 and 6 pupils – was organised by the Education Ministry’s Department of Curriculum Management. The participants were required to develop a portfolio of work during a series of workshops featuring problems that promoted spatial, analytic and heuristic skills. The winners were awarded WeDo Robots at an award ceremony held at Fort St Angelo.
