As he has now taken over the energy portfolio, I would suggest the Prime Minister takes a good hard look at the utterly incomprehensible shambles and incompetence that seems to characterise ARMS Ltd.
For months and months I went without a bill and then, on March 3, I get one for €2,578.27, on March 7 another bill for €1,788.95, then another one on March 30 for €1,847.32 and yet another on April 13 for €1,032.96.
I am a registered diabetic who is insulin dependent. I keep my insulin in the fridge and they threaten to disconnect my electricity. The meter reader only comes when the household is out at work, so I take my own readings, use their bill calculator and send them the actual amount used... regularly.
I do not owe them what they are ‘guessing’. I have repeatedly asked for a timed appointment with a named, senior accounts person but get no reply.
I have all my bills and readings for the last four years as I believe they are totally incompetent and simply not able to get my bill correct. Action please from somebody competent or should I just let them take me to court where I will prove they are wrong?
ARMS, please get your act together.
