Minister Konrad Mizzi this evening said it is up to people to decide if it is case closed after the Panama Papers scandal.

Speaking after the parliamentary no confidence motion against him, Dr Mizzi said he apologised for his actions and pledged to work hard to make up for it.

Asked how he would move on from this, Dr Mizzi said he had no further comments to add to what he already said in parliament.

“I am happy that the [parliamentary] group regrouped together, I think that was an important thing. I will work following the direction of the prime minister and I will give my maximum to the country. My intentions were not wrong,” Dr Mizzi said.
