Soprano Hannah Bonnici will be giving an interesting cross-cultural performance at a lunchtime concert being held at the Oratory of St Francis, Valletta, today at 12.30pm. The soprano will be accompanied on the piano by Irina Fedcenko-Carbonaro.

Crossing Borders – Classical Arias will present an eclectic and remarkable programme with a special emphasis on the songs of Austrian composer Franz Joseph Haydn.

The concert will continue with the works of Spanish 20th century composer Fernando Obradors. Bonnici will also sing a song from her native Malta by one of the country’s best composers – Carmelo Pace. The programme will carry on with a song by American George Gershwin and finally with a number byGerman Romantic composer Carl Maria Von Weber.
