Senior 2 students at Mater Boni Consilii St Joseph School, Paola, are being introduced to the basics of 3D designing, using 3D builder software provided to the school by Microsoft.

During a series of workshops they are designing keychains using the software and then seeing them being printed.

The students also had the opportunity to use the latest 3D printing apps on educational tablet computers provided to the school by Microsoft.

The workshops were organised following an agreement between the school headmaster Kenneth Vella, ICT2BIZ director Jurgen Calleja, and Thought3D directors Keith Azzopardi and Edward Borg, and coordinated by ICT teacher Cristina Mifsud.
