ATTARD. On April 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, LINO of Ħamrun, living in Sliema, aged 84, passed away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Doris, his children, Jacqueline and her husband Etienne Micallef Grimaud, Michelle and her husband, Albert Bonello, Keith and his grandchildren Chantelle, Alain, Sarah, Stephanie, Nicola, Elena and Kurt, his brothers, sisters and in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Ursuline Sisters, Sliema, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
MIZZI. On April 28, at St Catherine’s Home, Attard, CELESTINA, née Farrugia, widow of George Mizzi and of Saverio Pizzuto, aged 92, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She will be sadly missed by her children Rita and Raymond Borg, Joseph and Olga and John and Tania, her dearest grandchildren Philip and Michela, Therisa and Mark, Matthew and Gabriella, David and Michelle, Michael, and her darling great-grandson Zach, her brothers and sisters, Violet Depares, widow of Joe, Sunnie Farrell and his wife Anna, Ora Heister, widow of Bud, John Farrugia and his wife Jill, Violet Farrugia, widow of her brother Ray and Bert Hilhorst, widower of her sister Tessie, in-laws from both the Pizzuto and the Mizzi families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow at 9am at St Mary’s parish church, Attard, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to charitable institutions will be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank all the sisters and carers at St Catherine’s Home for their constant dedication throughout these last years. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
