A total 56.8 million of counterfeit pills were confiscated by the Customs Department between January and March.
In a statement, the department gave a list of items confiscated following searches in various establishments and at the country’s borders.

The department said these items would have made a serious impact on the local and the European Union's financial interests and would have placed the EU's safety in jeopardy.
It encouraged the public to help it in its fight against tax avoidance and evasion, illicit trade in prohibited and restricted goods and drug trafficking.
