Four members of a far-right group known as 'Oldschool Society' are standing trial in Munich, charged with planning bomb attacks at asylum centres.

Prosecutors say one German woman and three men plotted to commit arson and nail-bomb attacks in May 2015.

Their alleged target was a shelter housing asylum seekers, near the eastern town of Borna, near Leipzig.

Munich Higher Regional Court spokesperson, Barbara Stockinger said their intent was clear:

"Two of the defendants went to the Czech Republic in order to purchase explosives, pyrotechnical explosive material. They also studied how to make nail bombs, nails and fuel even more dangerous."
