Oh dear! On the back page of the Times of Malta on April 20 there was a photograph of a man in a horse-drawn sulky. He is quite clearly driving the horse and sulky and not – as the text would have it - riding the horse.

To make matters worse, the article below the photograph is headlined ‘Literacy strategy: is it working?’ I rest my case.
