Students and staff from St Martin’s College recently visited Kindai High School in Osaka, Japan.

Besides visiting sites, shrines and temples in Osaka, Tokyo and Kyoto the Maltese students also experienced living in the homes of Japanese families and sharing their everyday lives. This enabled them to further appreciate the uniqueness of the Japanese art, culture and food.

The two schools have been collaborating for 13 years. This was the Maltese school’s second visit to its Japanese counterpart and took place soon after St Martin’s College hosted a group of 38 students from Kindai High School.

In Malta, the Japanese students attended intensive English lessons at EC Language School and integration lessons with students from St Martin’s College.
