The reserved parking bay next door to the Paola health centre is being used mainly by doctors even though they have their own reserved parking spaces.

It is not the first time that I had to phone the police. On the day I am writing this letter, I had to wait half an hour so that two doctors can move their car.

When I spoke to the owner of the blue car (in the picture), she was not even concerned or apologetic and only replied: ‘I had patients to attend to. If Ido not find where to park, I will be late.”

One would expect a doctor to be more appreciative of disabled people. Last week, another doctor parked his car at 7am and I had to phone the police station three times before any action could be taken.

He eventually left at 10am.
