Let me congratulate the Grand Harbour Regeneration Corporation and the restoration unit on their discovery of a brand new form of lightning.

The picture of the lighting bracket on the front elevation of Castille that appeared in the Times of Malta on April 19 shows clearly that the new lightning is indeed very special.

It is of exceptionally low power, is able to target an insulated (by plastic fixing anchors) metal bracket extremely precisely and hits that bracket at its lowest point (rather than at its highest point as would be normal).

I trust these scientists will now publish their findings in a recognised scientific journal so the rest of the world can learn about this new phenomenon.
