AGIUS. On April 21, at his residence in Fgura, JOSEPH, of Senglea, aged 80, ex-S.M. PS827, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Gaetana, his daughters Janet and Marisa, his son Frankie, their respective husbands and wife, his grandchildren Giulia, Luca, Matteo, Andrea and Gianluca, his sisters Ċettina and Carmen and her husband Lino Guillaumier, his brother Michael and his wife Rita, his brothers-in-law Raphael and his wife Nora, Charles and his wife Geraldine and Tony, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. BUTTIGIEG. On April 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH, husband of the late Doris, of San Ġwann, aged 87, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons Dr Carmel Buttigieg and his wife Sandra, Dott. Albert Buttigieg and his wife Dr Benna Chase, his beloved grandchildren Matthew, Joanne and Adam, his sister and brothers, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8am for Our Lady of Lourdes parish church San Ġwann, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. BUTTIGIEG. On April 17, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA ANNA née Abela, widow of Peter, of Żejtun, aged 94, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Dr Joseph and his wife Josephine, Charles and his wife Doris, Angelo and his wife Maryrose, Maria and her husband Ronnie Spina, Michael and his wife Evelyn, Anthony and his wife Carmen, Catherine and her husband Alfred Difesa, Emmanuel and his wife Rita, Joan and her husband Achille Pace, Rita and her husband Adrian Cassola, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and their families, her sister Margherita Galea, her brother Frans Abela, her sister Carmena Attard other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3pm for St Catherine parish church, Żejtun, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment at Żejtun cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar Nazareth Żejtun, will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. God, grant her eternal rest.
CAVEN. On April 17, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, ALAN, aged 75, born in Glasgow and formerly of Rodolphe Street, Sliema. The funeral service will be held tomorrow Saturday at 10am at The Holy Trinity Church in Sliema, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
MIZZI. On April 19, Dr ALEX, aged 96, passed peacefully away, in Richmond, Virginia, USA comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss, his son Arthur and his wife Jai Lin, Martha and her husband Richard Bertolino, Kathy Todd, Mary-Ellen Mizzi Kinser and Janet Mizzi Flavin, his twelve grand-children, his sisters Norah, Yvonne (Sister Margaret Mary SJA) and Doris, his niece Anna-Maria and her husband Lawrence Bonello, other relatives and friends.
