I was Corporal Maund, the company clerk working for Major Thorn, company officer, during 1953 and 1954. There was also L/Cpl Brian J Hunt, clerk to Major Mullington, the quartermaster.

We were both RAMC national servicemen although Brian signed on for regular service while there and later, probably in 1954 or 1955, he married Polly, a local civilian nurse at the hospital.

Unfortunately I never knew her surname. It is a very long shot, but I would very much like to renew contact with Brian and wonder if anyone of your readers has any idea where they may be.
