BRINCAT. On April 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, HELEN, of Birkirkara, aged 91, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Maria Bernardette Brigar and her spouse Othmar Brigar, her grandsons Rev. Canon Nicholas Joseph Doublet and Michael Angelo Doublet, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for St Helen’s Basilica, Birkirkara, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Archbishop’s Seminary, Rabat, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

DEBONO. On April 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, ALFRED, of Qormi residing at Marsascala, former teacher and Culture Department officer, aged 75, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Carmen, his children Mr Joseph Debono (surgeon) and his wife Sandra, MaryRose and her husband Sandro Portelli, Edward and his wife Gracielle, his grand­children Thea, Ryan, Iain, Jacob, Favian, his brothers Sebastian, Lawrence, Karmenu, in-laws and their respective families, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1pm for Marsascala parish church, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 1.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. The family regret that they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

FORMOSA. On April 19, at Villa M. SSma Annunziata, Balzan, Sr LIDIA (Giuseppa) FORMOSA, of the Sisters of Charity, aged 107, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow Thursday, at 9am at the Sisters of Charity convent chapel, 55, Birbal Street, Balzan followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.

MILLER (FABRI). On April 19, at Roseville Home, Attard, MIRIAM, née Magro, widow of Walter Miller and Carmel Fabri, aged 83, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her daughter Monique and her husband Mario, her son Karl and his wife Sandra, her grandchildren Lara and her husband Keith, Rachel and her husband Andrew, Alison and Henry, Andrew and Nicole, her great-grandson Luke, her brother Tony Magro Attard and his wife Doris, her sisters-in-law Catherine wife of Antoine Degiovanni and Evelyn, her brother-in-law Sam Coster, her cousin Antoinette Miggiani, her nephews, nieces and relatives, her friends Ina Ciappara and Violet Piccinino. The funeral leaves Roseville Home, Attard, tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Gregory parish church, Sliema, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
