Incontri is an art exhibition that brings together four artists and four unique artistic expressions. It is also the meeting point of local and foreign visual artists.

Incontri is, above all, the place where art meets science and research. The exhibition is being held at the Valletta Campus of the University of Malta and is being organised in collaboration with the Research Trust (RIDT) of the University of Malta, with proceeds going towards brain research.

Emanuele Ventanni and his son Samuele come from Umbertide, a province of Perugia in Italy. They are both visual artists who express themselves in painting and sculpture.

Enzo Giummarra, a photographer, was born and lives in Comiso (Ragusa) in Sicily, while Josette Fenech is a Maltese painter who works and lives in Mellieħa.

This collective exhibition demonstrates the artists’ diverse visual, stylistic, iconographic, technical and technological preferences. Part of the concept of this exhibition is to show and to display a selection of the works by these artists who embrace diverse poetic expressions and interests.

• The exhibition runs at the Valletta Campus of the University of Malta until Wednesday, April 27.
