Mazars Malta, a member firm of international auditing firm Mazars, has announced the first of its 2016 series of information sessions branded ‘Made Simple, by Mazars’.

The first session, to be held on May 5 from 5 to 7pm, is entitled ‘Your business vehicle – making the right choice’. The workshop will focus on analysing the main vehicles available for undertaking a commercial activity.

The objective of these sessions is to make it possible and convenient for end-customers to receive practical information by professionals, particularly from a fiscal, financial and regulatory perspective, which can help them make the right decisions for their business and for their own personal well-being.

The 2016 series of ‘Made Simple’ workshops, which will be delivered by experts from within Mazars’ management team, will cover a variety of topics, including business planning, the financing of business operations, tax planning considerations and understanding VAT obligations.

Operations management course to be held in May

Malta University Consulting Ltd is organising an operations management course in May. This 16-hour course will take place at the University Residence, Robert Mifsud Bonnici Street, Lija.

The aim of this short course is to give a better understanding to those working in operations management in a manufacturing environment. The course helps them to gain a good understanding of production planning and control and to understand well the supporting computer applications and the modern manufacturing environments in which these functions operate. This course is spread over four sessions.

The course co-ordinator and tutor is Charles Muscat, who is an electrical engineer by profession, has an MBA (University of Malta) and is currently reading for an MSc in engineering design and manufacture from the University of Loughborough.

Customer service assured programme for businesses
