This question needs to be answered.

In the light of the revelations - now also in the international press - from the Mossack Fonseca leak, are you comfortable with the standards of governance adopted by Premier Joseph Muscat?

Speaking for myself, I'm not and never have been and I bet many, many thousands feel the same.

But I'm not the one that needs to answer this.

Deputy Prime Minister Louis Grech, would you care to answer? Knowing you, you're not, but are you going to say it? I think not.

Minister of Finance Edward Scicluna, can we hear your answer? I know what it should be, a resounding "NO, I AM NOT COMFORTABLE", but I'm not holding my breath waiting for you to say anything like that.

Minister of Education Evarist Bartolo, always so righteous and sniffy about friends of friends when being Doctor Alfred Sant's little helper, what say you?   Nothing, I assume, because, really, you can't, can you?

Minister for Equality and whatever else Helena Dalli, any thoughts? Of course not, this sort of thing doesn't interest the people whose votes you want to hoover up by sucking up to them. Or so you think, I think you'd be surprised, if you bothered to listen to them.

Ministers for being utterly ineffectual Brincat, Mizzi (the other one) Galdes and Farrugia, are you going to stand up and be counted?  Stop simpering, I'm asking in all seriousness.  No, you're not are you, why would we have thought otherwise?

Foreign Minister George Vella, how are you going to show your face at international gatherings now, pray tell?  Lucky for you Premier Joe is probably going to dump you soon, don't you think?

And what about you, Minister for Justice Owen Bonnici, with all your posturing about the quality of justice and your empty blustering about  other people's trumped up non-scandals?  Still comfortable sitting at the same Cabinet table with Konrad Mizzi, and having Keith Schembri skulking in the background? Do I even need to ask, frankly?

Minister for Tourism and Flogging Air Malta Zammit Lewis, what are the chances that you might feel a twinge of conscience, just maybe? Obviously not, you'll just answer PQs about what consultants were paid back in PN days, and think anyone but you really cares.

Minister for EU Money Ian Borg, should I even bother?  No, obviously not.

Godfrey Farrugia, is it starting to dawn on you now why you were shafted at Girgenti?  I think it just might be, but do you want to answer my question? Come on, now's the time to grow a spine.

Michael Falzon, is it starting to smart? I bet it is, and I bet Manwel Mallia is fuming too.  Would you have an answer to the question?

There are others who I will have forgotten to pinpoint, but it's the biggest, if not the best (ha!) Cabinet ever, so forgive me.

And last but not least, what about Dr Toni Abela, who has been reinstated to his consultancy to the Government and will resume his seat at Cabinet, what does he say about all this?

Is he comfortable with the way Premier Muscat has acted?  Not in his regard, that's for them to sort out, but in persisting in sticking up for Konrad Mizzi, Abela's replacement as Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.
