French Ambassador Béatrice le Fraper du Hellen will host a garden party for Flimkien għal Ambjent Aħjar members in celebration of trees. It will be the first event of the 2016 Heritage Homes programme.

The garden of the French Ambassador’s residence in Żebbuġ (Triq il-Knisja, behind Żebbuġ parish church) is typical of the Maltese walled gardens which accompanied most fine old country houses.

Tree experts will be giving guided tours of the gardens and their ancient trees. The tours will be followed by a short talk, tea and refreshments.

The tours will be held over two weekends, April 9 and 16, at 3pm. The event is limited to Flimkien għal Ambjent Aħjar members. Should one wish to become a member one can do so at http://new.faa.org.mt/how-to-help/become-a-member/. Every booked guest will need to provide his/her printed ticket (booked via FAA’s Ticketengine) and ID card.

A €15 donation will go towards FAA’s tree-planting initiative.
