Warren Buffet is a financial investment guru.

Yet, his wisdom is equally relevant with regard to economic investment: “Today, someone is able to sit in the shade because someone else planted a tree a long time ago.”

As for myself, I am not satisfied with an economy that fails to invest at least the equivalent of 20 per cent of its GDP, whether private or public, over a stretch of seven years.
