Sliema Wanderers will be without Njongo Priso (right) while defender Stefano Bianciardi was to have a late fitness test as the Blues look to end a five-match winless streak when they meet Pembroke Athleta.

Coach Alfonso Greco is still looking for his first win since his return to the club as Sliema have paid a high price for their failure to kill off their opponents in their last outings.

Priso begins a two-match ban following his dismissal in the late stages of the 3-3 draw against Balzan. Bianciardi is facing a race against time to prove his fitness as he is struggling with a strained muscle.

Marko Potezica is back in the fray after serving suspension.

Pembroke are expected to rely on the same group of players that fought to a 1-1 draw against Hibs last month as Patmore Shereni (knee) and Leighton Grech (groin) are still sidelined.

Previous results: Pembroke vs Sliema 0-1, 0-2.
