The price of diesel has gone down 6c, that of petrol 4c, Enemed said this afternooon.
The new rates are effective as from tomorrow.
In a statement, the government said fuel prices have been reduced 10 times in a span of three years under this government.
"This price stability policy is enabling businesses and families to plan ahead. This contrasts with the fuel policy adopted by the last PN administration, where fuel prices used to fluctuate on a monthly basis," it said.

PN'S REACTION
In spite of the revision in fuel rates, Maltese and Gozitans will still be paying among the highest rates in Europe.
Shadow minister Marthese Portelli said that although Prime Minister Joseph Muscat had been had been insisting, for months, that Malta should be like Luxembourg, the wages that were four times higher than Malta’s and the price of fuel much lower, even less €1.
The last time the international price of oil was at the same level, the price of diesel in Malta was 61c, she said.
Dr Portelli said that the Maltese had already lost €14 million from the deal Dr Muscat, his chief of staff Keith Schembri and Energy Minister Konrad Mizzi negotiated behind closed doors with the Azerbaijani dictator government at the same time that Mr Schembri and Dr Mizzi opened secret companies in Panama.
