People queued to get their pastizzi from the well-known Crystal Palace, better known as is-Serkin this morning as they flocked to Rabat for Good Friday activities.

The pastizzerija, which has been selling the Maltese delicacies for more than 70 years, will be changing ownership soon as it is now up for sale.

Although the current owner hopes that whoever buys the shop will continue to sell pastizzi, could today’s queues have been triggered out of the fact that this iconic outlet, which many have experienced at all hours of the day, will soon be gone for good?
