A 20-year-old man is in danger of loss of life following a traffic accident involving the motorcycle he was drivingand a car, the police said.

The collision took place this morning at 6.30 a.m. in Triq l-Imġarr, Xewkija.

The two vehicles were being driven towards Għajnsielem from Xewkija.

The motorcyclist, who lives in Victoria, was driving a Suzuki 100, while the car, a Volkswagen Golf, was being driven by a 43-year-old man residing in Sliema. 

Investigations are underway by the Victoria District Police while several experts have been appointed to assist with a magisterial inquiry.
