LiNKD is a Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Company consisting of nine Saint Aloysius’ College Sixth Form students.
The company has recently introduced TrackMate in the local market. TrackMate is a small tracking device that allows users to keep track of their children and valuables. This device is connected to an app via a Bluetooth signal and is easily set up.
When a set distance of 15 metres is exceeded, both the app and the tracking device notify the users. Furthermore, the device also provides the users with the last location of the valuable or child prior to the distance being exceeded. Alternatively, TrackMate can also be used as a wireless remote control for your phone’s camera and capture pictures with it.
“TrackMate can be bought either as a keychain, to attach to valuables such as keys, wallets, handbags and laptop cases, or together with a lanyard for children,” Ricky Galea, managing director of LiNKD, said.
