• Federazzjoni Maltija Vetturi Antiki is organising a show of vintage cars that will start today at 10.30am at Għajnsielem, stop over in Marsalforn and end at the Mġarr Yacht Marina at 1.30pm. During the vintage motors festival there will be shows at the above-mentioned places as well as at Xagħra from 9am to 11am, Qala from 11.15am to 1pm and Żebbuġ from 1.15 to 3pm.
• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly in Gozo is organising a charity sale today from 8am to 1pm at the football ground next to main car park in Victoria. The fee is €10 per car space payable on the day.
• An Easter sweet fair is being held today from 8.30am to 6pm in the foyer of Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, in aid of the oratory.
• Oasi Foundation is holding a bake sale today at Victoria football ground as part of a car boot sale during which figolli and other Easter treats will be sold.
• Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will lead a via crucis at Għammar Hill today at 4pm. It will be broadcast live on Radju Marija. Those attending are asked to bring a red candle.
• Creed (12A) will be screened at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm.
• A concert of sacred music entitled Ecce Homo will take place at St Francis church, Victoria, today at 6.30pm, organised by Santa Cecilia Foundation and directed by Mro Antoine Mercieca.
• Fr Marcello Ghirlando will give Lenten talks at St Anthony church, Għajnsielem, from tomorrow to Thursday at 6pm. The talks are open to the public.
• A blood donation session will be held at Gozo General Hospital’s Outpatients Department on Tuesday from 1pm to 5pm.
• A seminar on the topic of colon cancer and colonoscopy will be held on Wednesday at 6pm at the Gozo Ministry by the Gozo General Hospital’s Outpatients’ Department in conjunction with the Health Promotion Unit. The public is invited to attend.
• On Friday, the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, Masses at St James church, Victoria, will be held every half an hour between 6am and 1pm. Mgr Mario Grech will concelebrate Mass at 6pm, on Independence Square, followed by a procession with the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows.
• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at St Francis Church, Victoria, on Saturday at 8pm, followed by Mass at midnight.
