In between the shows, squeezing in a couple or more presentations is fundamental in Milan. The shoe and bag presentations are the most sought after - after all, Italian fashion is synonymous with high-quality leather goods.

Bulgari

The Bulgari presentation held in their swanky hotel in Milan is a sight to behold. Luxurious bags crafted from the highest quality materials exhibited displayed elegantly in a curated manner as though they were historic pieces.

Snakeskin made an appearance on an elegant mini bag whilst coloured rhinestones were a featured over a range of styles. The talk of the town is the new addition - the Viper Bag in purple crocodile.

Jimmy Choo

The collection presented at Jimmy Choo was quite a varied one. Military seemed to be the main inspiration but there was a varied, contrasting range of styles in different materials ranging from velvet to feathers to leather. There was quite a lot of colour and contrast in their designs.

There was a pair of knee-high boots that had the sense of being armed and ready for war but then a lace bootie that was very soft and feminine.

Giuseppe Zanotti

A disco theme seemed to be the mood for this Winter collection. David Bowie and his Ziggy stardust persona was an obvious reference throughout this collection. Multi coloured peep-toe sandals with glitter and sequins coverings and square-toed platforms were present.

Shearling thigh-boots was another standout design that caught my eye. Other highlights included sparkly sandals that really combine sensuality and power and a pair of hand painted floral stiletto boots.

The presentation was held in a scarlet, plus basement nightclub which perfectly matched the mood of her ‘Born To Be Wild’ Collection.

The western-themed cowboy selection is great and full of interesting details whilst other designs include patent boots with her trademark eye designs, some lovely heels and others with metallic chevron stripes

Casadei

At Casadei 70’s and more 70,’s were present. From fringed boots to platform shoes with block heels, it was hard to miss the reference.

Metal details were present both in the heels and in other places such as the lace inserts. Their new range of gender neutral footwear is black and chunky but with little classy touches of details that the band is so renowned for.

Les Petits Joueurs

This fun and energetic brand has been making head waves by being seen on the arms of celebrities.

The brand is renowned for quirky designs using emoticons such as smileys and slogans and of course, the trademark custom-made pieces of LEGO.

The designs for next winter continue along the same vein but incorporate new elements such as fringing and different materials, there are also designs not using LEGO pieces such as a lovely bucket bag with coloured accents and a bright pom pom accessory.
