• The Good Dinosaur (PG) will be screened at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm. Next Saturday, Children’s Cinema Day, Snoopy and Charlie Brown the Peanuts Movie (U) will be screened at 2pm and Star Wars – The Force Awakens (PG) will be screened at 4pm.

• Today at 4pm Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will lead a penitential pilgrimage with the Christ the Redeemer statue from Qala parish church to Immaculate Conception church, Qala, followed by Mass, including prayers for rain.

• To commemorate the apparition of Our Lady of Lourdes, Masses will be held at Lourdes Church, Għajnsielem, today at 5.15 and 8.30am, 1, 3.30 and 5pm and on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 5.15 and 9am, and at 1, 3.30 and at 5pm. Devotees may visit the sanctuary until 8pm.

• Lenten talks will be held at John Paul II Family Institute, Fortunato Mizzi Street, Victoria, as follows: from tomorrow to Friday at 8pm Fr Anton Borg will give talks for engaged couples; from March 7 to 11 at 7.30pm Fr Anton Teuma will give talks for married couples, and from March 14 to17 at 8pm Fr Michael Said will give talks for separated people and couples in a second relationship.

• Lenten talks for professionals, graduates and their partners will be given by Fr Edward Xuereb from tomorrow to Friday at 8pm at St Augustine’s Church, Victoria, organised by the Gozo diocese’s Professionals and Graduates Movement.

• The Sacred Heart Minor Seminary Ladies’ Circle’s monthly coffee morning will be held on Thursday at 9am in the Catholic Action Headquarters hall, Victoria. Tickets may be purchased from members and the school.

• Members of Il-Fergħa Ewkaristika (Għawdex) will meet at Ta’ Pinu on Saturday at 3pm to celebrate Mass and for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament till 4pm. All are welcome to attend.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Ta’ Hamet, on Saturday at 8pm, followed by Mass at midnight.

• Gozo off the Beaten Track, Flimkien għal Ambjent Aħjar’s first heritage walk on the island, will be held on March 12. Parti-cipants will discover the history of the places to be visited. To book a place and for details regarding the meeting place, e-mail admin@faa.org.mt.
